Breonor

This sparsely inhabited island off the coast has no large cities, and only brave merchants and several groups of smugglers that make their home here brave its rocky shores. The inhabitants mostly dwell in isolated farmsteads and live from simple agriculture and shepherding.

A common belief among the inhabitants is that on the night of the new moon, the spirits of the dead who were not faithful enough to gain entry to the realm of a god can enter this world through a certain cave on this island. The people of Breonor spend those "wild nights" behind closed doors and barred windows, and attach charms to all openings, which are supposed to keep the spirits away.
