The Chalk Giants are a series of ancient figures (usually several dozens of yards long) carved into the hills of the Hollowhill Protectorate. Despite the name, they are not all humanoid but also display all sorts of creatures, both mundane and fantastical. Many of them seem to be engaged in some sort of activity, such as hunting each other. Speculating on the "hidden meaning" of these figures is a popular past time of foreign scholars. The locals associate them with the fey, and while they normally avoid the Giants they visit them on particular days of the year to conduct folkloric rituals to avoid angering the inhabitants of Faerie.
