Cold Sea

Beginning south of the Veldtland and the Far Coast, the Cold Sea laps the shores of the southern parts of Terra Meridies until it gradually turns into the Last Ocean where that continent progresses to the north. Icebergs produced by the continent's many glaciers are a frequent occurrence in these fog-clouded waters, making navigation very hazardous. Yet the ocean has an abundance of maritime life, attracting both fishers and whalers despite the distance and risk.
