Faerie Termite
rating: 0+x

Many southern grasslands, such as those found in the Verdant Coast or the Veldtland, have their own trods in the form of faerie circles - patches of bare soil surrounded by a ring of grass, usually with a diameter of several yards. Scientific investigations have recently concluded that bizarrely the faerie circles are not caused by the fey themselves who use them to pass between worlds, but by a seemingly mundane species of termite which denudes the soil in such circular patches. It cannot be ruled out that these termites have somehow discovered a way of feeding on the spoor of the fey.
