Froschteich
rating: 0+x

The Froschteich ("frog pond") is a small lake approximately 60 miles to the southeast of Bodenwald which is known for the unique species of frogs inhabiting it. These frogs have an average length of eight inches when fully grown and are black with red or golden freckles. Throughout the warmer periods of the year the croaking these frogs produce is deafening far out of proportion to their size and number and can be heard in several nearby villages. Even in the coldest months of the year, the lake never freezes over and the buzzing of insects can be heard at all times. Locals generally consider the lake cursed and avoid it.

Designer's Notes & Resources

Just establishing some scenery, although I hope it's evocative scenery. Maybe I will do some more with it later on. But then again, maybe not.
