Harpy (Yethrod)

Named after the common Rothean harpy, the Yethrodian harpy is a large, winged reptile-analogue home to the planet Yethrod. Like many of that planet's natives, it lacks visual organs but makes up for it by navigating via sonar. It is capable of emitting extremely strong sonic beams from its body capable of breaking the bones of its prey, as well as shattering most plants and small rocks. Some of these creatures can be found in Rothea in remote areas, and it is suspected that several breeding pairs were released on this planet during the fall of Basram.
