Proportionalities
rating: 0+x

The Proportionalities are a type of domain in Faerie which generally resemble the Material Plane - except that everything is either proportionally larger or smaller than what it would normally be. Generally, either all things in the domain are significantly smaller or all are larger, which means that in some of these realms visitors will have to be careful or else they will destroy lots of tiny fey and their buildings with each footstep, while in others they will be as small as the local mice and thus be chased by gigantic but otherwise ordinary-looking cats. In rarer cases, some elements may be smaller while others will be larger - for instance, one domain is known where people and animals are normal-sized, but all plants grow to several times the height they would have on Rothea - thus causing grains to become the size of fruits, and making falling apples and pine cones into a major hazard.
