Shadow Clans

Some dragonkin, in their desire to escape their dragon tormentors, left the material plane altogether. These formed the nucleus of the Shadow Clans, families of dragonkin who travel as gypsies between different regions and use the night roads of the Plane of Shadows to quickly arrive in far-distant places. Most other dragonkin are leery of them, as a shroud of gloom tends to hang around them even in brightest day, but the Shadow Clans accept any who is willing to travel with them - even the rare person from one of the other races.
