Siren's Rock

This lonely rock has long been reputed to be the home of "sirens", beautiful maidens who lure sailors to their doom with their song. A recent expedition has discovered that the sirens are actually harpies who somehow have gained the power to take on human form. The survivors of the same expedition also tell of a trod of staggering size hidden within the rock, and have brought back samples of a huge treasure hoard they claim is hidden in there as well. Now several groups in Dartmouth and other coastal cities are planning new expeditions to get hold of the treasure.
