Ungol's Stairs

Ungol's Stairs is a long, narrow, and steep footpath rising from the northern end of the Harbor Borough up to Wyvern's Cliff. It derives its name from the fact that it terminates at Storm Abbey, a monastery dedicated to Ungol. Few people other than sailors wishing to visit the Abbey use this path, as there are better (if longer) paths up the hill and its steepness means that there are often serious accidents when people on it slip (though these accidents often involve alcohol as well) - in most years at least one person falls to his death. Traditionally, the corpses are brought up to the Abbey and buried there.
