This city serves as the northern terminus of the Giants' Trail. From here, the goods traded by the giants are shipped down the river to Chikwase and beyond. Much of the local valley has been grazed bare by the mountain goats which the natives keep in order to feed visiting giants.
Trailblazers from Neubodenwald have established a well-maintained path from there to Vakango. However, as Neubodenwald continues to grow, this path is gradually proving to be insufficient, and work has started on a railroad between the two towns. This has caused numerous shortages in Vakango as the railroad company has hired many of the locals for comparatively high wages, which in turn has caused some of the local leaders to rethink whether the railroad is such a good idea.
