The physically largest but least populated of the districts of Nimdenthal, Wildau consists of a series of hamlets and surrounding farms which were cut into the forests north of the actual city that gradually grew in size until they were annexed into the city itself. Even though two tram lines connect many of the hamlets to the rest of Nimdenthal, Wildau largely retains its rural atmosphere and is fairly safe when compared to the anarchic conditions prevalent in much of the rest of the city. As a result, many citizens who can afford it (while not being rich enough to live in Münsterberg live here and commute to other parts of the city to do their business.

Apart from the farms, another major business in Wildau are the lumber mills which receive fresh lumber from the forests to the north.
